Gangtok, Darjeeling and Enchey Monastery Tour Overview

Gangtok, the capital city of the Sikkim can also give you a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjunga, at a distant skyline. The pristine hill station nestled in mountains and clouds is also a base for a whole lot of trekkers to the Himalayan mountain ranges. The mesmerising prismatic beauty and the beautiful winding hill roads are even more breathtaking if seen from a bird’s eye view in a cable car. Darjeeling city is like the untouched beauty of the hills, the old-world charm of the past, and the welcoming smiles of the local people all add up to make Darjeeling one of the most beautiful hill stations in Eastern part of India. Spread over a steep mountain ridge, nestled amidst acres of lush green tea plantations, Darjeeling stands at the height of 2,050 meters above sea level, thus boasting of cool climes all year round.
The package cost is based on 02 person travelling together if no of persons increase or decrease cost will be change and cost is valid till up to September.

Gangtok, Darjeeling and Enchey Monastery Tour Itinerary

Day 1

NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (125 kms / 4 hrs)

04 Nights/05 Days Gangtok & Darjeeling Tour Package

Upon arrival NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport Meet & Greet to our tour repersentative cum driver & transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). (Lunch Enroute at your own cost) On arrival Check-in to your pre-hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Dinner at your own cost. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) Which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city (Lunch and Dinner at your own cost). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)

Day 3

Gangtok Local Sightseeing – Darjeeling (115 kms / 4 hrs)

This morning start for a half day trip of Gangtok city covering Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 3-4 hours). Afternoon drive to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.) (Lunch Enroute at your own cost). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Dinner at your own cost. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 4

Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple (Lunch at your own cost). Evening free for shopping or leisure. Dinner at Hotel or restaurant at your own cost. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5

Darjeeling – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (98 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast Check-out from hotel and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey with best memoreis and pics.
