Enchanting Ooty Tour

This morning after breakfast head off to the Mukurthi National Park. A perfect place to begin your tour of Ooty, this national park has a number of floras and faunas that will keep you occupied for quite a few hours. Trek the trails of the park and explore the surrounding forested area also. Later drive towards the direction of Mudumalai National Park. Again a place that has many different animals and varieties of plant species, this place is a must visit for all wildlife enthusiasts. Have your lunch at any restaurant on your own and head back to Ooty after finishing your meal. On the way back stop at Pykara lake and Pykara falls and enjoy the afternoon by the side of the lake. Explore the surrounding area and be ready to be mesmerized by the waterfall. To know more about the history and culture of Ooty visit the Government Museum. After this you can visit the Ooty Botanical Gardens. From here head back to your hotel and have dinner and retire early for the night.

This day start early, preferably before sunrise and drive to Needle Rock. A spot known for its sunrise and sunset view, Needle Rock will definitely take your breath away. After watching the mesmerizing sunrise back to hotel for breakfast. Later begin your day visiting to St. Stephen’s Church, one of the popular landmarks of the place. Feel blessed as you offer your prayer at the altar of this beautiful church. Head off to Doddabetta Peak, which is at a distance of around 10 km from the city centre. Experience nature at its best at this scenic spot and have a panoramic view of Ooty from this peak. Trek the surrounding trails for a while and explore the wilderness of Ooty.
Come back to Ooty and have lunch at Sidewalk Cafe or Quality Restaurant on your own.. After lunch visit the popular Wax museum, which is one of the three wax museums in the country? Stroll through the museum and have a look at the statues on display. Make sure you visit the Tea Factory of Ooty. A one of a kind place that exhibits the science of tea processing, this museum is for those who are looking for something unique - Continue your tour with a trip to Ooty Lake which is best when visited in the afternoon as the water of the lake is placid and will give you a feeling of serenity. You can also go for boating at the lake. On the way back you can stop by the famous Ooty Rose Garden, which has more than 20,000 different varieties of rose. Evening back to hotel and have Dinner

Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and keep your luggage in Car and travel 20 km from Ooty to Annamalai Temple and soak in the divinity of the place. Offer your prayer at this popular temple and feel the serenity of the place. Later head to Avalanche Lake and here you will witness Ooty’s natural beauty in its more pure and unspoilt form.
The spectacular Emerald Lake is near Avalanche Lake. So, stop by this lake as you are already on the same route. Have your lunch in any good restaurant .
Come back to Ooty and if you want to see more of these marvels of nature, you have to travel 13 km from Ooty to Kalhatti and trek for a few minutes to witness the beautiful Kalhatti Falls and before you go back to airport , go to the Main Bazaar for a quick shopping spree and end your tour.
